Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced a ‘National Town Hall’ meeting on the E20 issue, aiming to bring together citizens, experts and affected individuals to discuss concerns related to the matter. He also stated that he will submit more than two lakh petitions collected through an online campaign to Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week.
Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal said that the voice of the country’s youth has shown the strength of public participation. He urged the central government to take immediate steps on the E20 issue before it develops into a larger nationwide movement.
Arvind Kejriwal Appeals to PM Modi to Address E20 Concerns
Arvind Kejriwal said that public sentiment should not be ignored and that the government must take action after listening to citizens’ concerns. He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resolve the issue at the earliest.
He announced that the National Town Hall will provide a platform where people can share their views and discuss the challenges faced by them. According to Kejriwal, residents of Delhi-NCR can participate physically, while people from other parts of the country can join the event online.
Over Two Lakh Petitions to Be Submitted to PM
The AAP leader said that the online petition launched by the party has received support from more than two lakh people. He added that these letters and petitions will be taken to the Prime Minister’s residence next week to highlight public concerns.
Arvind Kejriwal also shared a registration contact number for people interested in joining the National Town Hall and said discussions will involve experts, affected citizens and members of the public.
Questions Raised Over Student Protests and Paper Leak Law
During the press conference, Kejriwal also reacted to police action against protesting students in Bihar and other states. He said that handling student concerns through force is not the right approach and may create doubts among people.

On the Centre’s anti-paper leak law, Kejriwal said that the focus should not only be on making strict laws but also on ensuring proper implementation. He questioned the intention behind enforcing such measures and said effective action against malpractice is necessary.
Arvind Kejriwal Defends Punjab Government Over Paper Leak Allegations
Responding to demands for the resignation of Punjab Education Minister over paper leak allegations, Kejriwal defended the AAP governments in Delhi and Punjab.
He said that during AAP’s 10-year rule in Delhi, no examination paper leak took place. He also claimed that Punjab has not witnessed any paper leak incident in the last five years.
Arvind Kejriwal clarified that the incident being referred to was not a paper leak case but an attempt by some students to cheat using smart devices at two examination centres. He said the students were caught immediately and the attempt was stopped.
Highlights Punjab’s Education Progress
Arvind Kejriwal also spoke about Punjab’s education system and claimed that the state has made significant improvements under the AAP government.
He stated that Punjab, which was earlier ranked lower in education performance, has now achieved the top position according to government education rankings. He said these achievements are the reason opponents are targeting the government.
