He further stated that Punjab has witnessed significant harm due to the drug problem over the years, but the current government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has intensified action against drug trafficking networks.
According to Arvind Kejriwal, the present administration is actively working on dismantling supply chains, strengthening enforcement agencies, and expanding rehabilitation and awareness programs across the state.
He highlighted that the fight against drugs is not only an administrative task but also a social mission aimed at protecting the youth and securing their future.
Arvind Kejriwal reiterated that the government’s ongoing campaign is beginning to show results, with increased enforcement actions and stricter monitoring of drug-related activities.
He concluded that the priority remains to make Punjab a safer and drug-free state, while ensuring that strict legal action continues against those involved in illegal narcotics trade.
