Arvind Kejriwal has been unanimously re-elected as AAP National Convenor at the party’s 15th National Council meeting attended by 330 members.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held its 15th National Council meeting on Wednesday, where Arvind Kejriwal was unanimously re-elected as the party’s National Convenor. A total of 330 members participated in the important organisational meeting.
The meeting, chaired by Arvind Kejriwal, also saw the formation of a new 23-member National Executive. The leadership discussed the party’s future direction and organisational strategy, with senior leaders guiding members on key priorities ahead.
New AAP National Executive Formed
Along with the re-election of Arvind Kejriwal as National Convenor, the party announced its new National Executive comprising 23 members. The panel includes several prominent AAP leaders from different states and organisational units.
The newly formed National Executive includes Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi, Adil Ahmed Khan, Anurag Dhanda, Bhagwant Mann, Dilip Pandey, Durgesh Pathak, Gopal Italia, Gopal Rai, Rani Agarwal, Harpal Singh Cheema, Manish Sisodia, Mohammad Irshad, N.D. Gupta, Pankaj Gupta, Preeti Sharma Menon, Prithvi Reddy, Rakhi Birla, Vibhav, Sanjay Singh, Satyendar Jain, Shelly Oberoi and Rajbir.

Pankaj Gupta Named National Secretary
Pankaj Gupta has been selected as the National Secretary of the party, while N.D. Gupta will continue as the National Treasurer. The appointments were announced during the organisational proceedings of the National Council meeting.
The leadership also discussed the road ahead for the party. Arvind Kejriwal and other senior leaders addressed the members and provided guidance on the organisation’s future strategy and priorities.
Five Special Invitees Included
The party has also appointed five special invitees to the National Council structure. The special invitees are Ajay Dutt, Chaitar Vasava, Imran Hussain, Mehraj Malik and Venzy Viegas.
With Arvind Kejriwal continuing as National Convenor and a new 23-member National Executive in place, the meeting marked an important organisational development for the Aam Aadmi Party. The decisions are expected to shape the party’s organisational functioning and political strategy going forward.
