Atishi Says 4 More AAP Leaders Will Be Arrested, Claims Offer To Join BJP

According to Atishi, the BJP intends to arrest her, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Durgesh Pathak, and Raghav Chadha, the next group of AAP leaders.
Over the next two months, four more prominent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders are expected to be detained, Delhi minister Atishi said today, accusing the BJP of deploying central agencies to smash AAP. She claimed that she, Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP MP Raghav Chadha, and party MLA Durgesh Pathak are all going to be arrested by the ruling party.
“Through a very close person, the BJP has made contact with me. They claim that if I join the BJP, my political career will be saved. “The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has threatened to arrest me within a month if I don’t switch over,” she said to the press.
She said the person who approached her on behalf of the BJP had said that the ruling party had “made up its mind on crushing everyone in AAP”.
“They jailed every member of the AAP leadership first. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister, Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendra Jain have all been taken into custody. Four more AAP leaders are expected to be arrested by the BJP in the following two months. They’re going to arrest Raghav Chadha, Durgesh Pathak, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and me,” she declared.
IN THE LIQUOR POLICY CASE, ARVIND KEJRIWAL WAS PLACED IN JUDICIAL PRISON TILL APRIL 15.
According to Ms. Atishi, the BJP had anticipated that following Arvind Kejriwal’s incarceration, the party would split. “But after the rally in Ramlila Maidan Sunday, the BJP thinks the arrest of four leaders was not enough,” she stated.
The minister from Delhi asserted that she had been informed that the ED would raid her and her relatives’ houses in the next several days. “We are Arvind Kejriwal’s soldiers, we won’t be cowed down by BJP’s threats.”
Ms. Atishi cited the ED’s court brief, which stated that Mr. Kejriwal had claimed that she and Mr. Bharadwaj were subordinated to AAP’s former chief communications officer, Vijay Nair.
“The chargesheets from the CBI and ED already contain this material. It’s probable that the ED obtained our names in order to arrest the AAP’s second tier of leadership, the woman claimed.
The AAP leader’s accusations were deemed “baseless” by the BJP. Leader of the party RP Singh stated, “I can also confirm that Saurabh Bharadwaj called me and asked me to save them from Arvind Kejriwal, who wants to imprison them and appoint Sunita Kejriwal as CM. This is their internal struggle, which keeps manifesting itself in many ways.”
“The truth is that action will be taken against all whose names are involved in the matter. It is clear that the fight for the CM post has begun in AAP. Saurabh Bharadwaj and Atishi are on one side and Sunita Kejriwal and Arvind Kejriwal are on the other,” he alleged
The latest in the contentious discussions between AAP and BJP officials following Mr. Kejriwal’s arrest for money laundering connected to Delhi’s now-repeated liquor policy are Ms. Atishi’s accusations and the BJP’s response. The Chief Minister has been taken to the Tihar jail in Delhi and placed under judicial detention until April 15. He isn’t assisting with the investigation, according to the ED.
