Karnataka CET 2025 Engineering Top Ranks Claimed by Bengaluru CBSE Students
BENGALURU — CBSE students from Bengaluru have once again topped the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025 in the engineering stream, continuing a trend that has held strong over recent years. The CET results, released on Saturday, also showed CBSE students excelling in veterinary sciences, pharmacy, and nursing, with boys predominantly occupying the top 10 ranks across most streams.

For the past several years, students from the CBSE board have consistently performed well in the CET exams. However, the agriculture stream was an exception this year, where nine top-ranking students belonged to the state board, hailing mainly from the southern districts of Mangalore, Udupi, and Dakshina Kannada.
In total, the top 10 positions across six key streams — engineering, agriculture, nursing, veterinary, pharmacy, and naturopathy and yogic sciences — were secured by students from Bengaluru and the undivided Dakshina Kannada region.
In the engineering stream, three students from Chaithanya Techno School’s different branches led the pack. Bhavesh Jayanti secured the first rank, followed by Satwik B Biradar from the Uttarahalli branch in second place, and Dhinesh Gomathi Shankar Arunachalam of the Marathahalli branch in third.
The agriculture stream saw Akshay M Hegde of Alva’s PU College, Moodbidre, topping the list. He was followed by Saish Shravan Pandit and Suchith P Prasad from Expert PU College, who took second and third ranks respectively.
This year’s results highlight the continued academic excellence of Bengaluru’s CBSE students in Karnataka’s competitive CET exams, with a notable performance by state board students in agriculture.
