Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday inaugurated two newly developed Schools of Eminence (SOE) in Ludhiana’s Kidwai Nagar and Miller Ganj-Dholewal areas. The modern campuses are aimed at providing students with better educational facilities, advanced infrastructure and an improved learning environment.
During the inauguration, CM Bhagwant Mann visited the newly built campuses, interacted with students and teachers and met residents who attended the event. He said the Punjab Government’s education policy is focused not merely on constructing school buildings but on creating a strong public education system where every child gets access to quality education and equal opportunities.

Addressing the gathering, Bhagwant Singh Mann said the changes taking place in Punjab’s government schools are becoming visible on the ground. According to the Chief Minister, in some areas nearly 90 percent of students are opting for government schools. He presented this trend as an indication of the changing image of government education in the state.

Punjab Students Show Strong Performance in NEET and JEE
Highlighting the achievements of students, Bhagwant Mann said 882 students from Punjab qualified for NEET this year, while more than 125 students cleared JEE Main.
He said the performance of students in national-level competitive examinations demonstrates the progress being made in the state’s education sector. The government, he added, is working to ensure that students receive the academic support and facilities required to compete at the national level.
Smart Classrooms, Digital Learning and Modern Labs
The Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mannsaid the Punjab Government is investing in modern infrastructure to improve the overall learning experience in government schools.
