Royal Enfield Prices Crash for Hunter 350, Soar for Himalayan!
If you’re planning to buy a Royal Enfield, here’s some big news you can’t ignore. The recent GST changes have brought a mixed bag for bike lovers — the brand’s best-sellers are now more affordable, but its bigger, premium motorcycles are about to burn a deeper hole in your pocket.

From September 22, 2025, the GST rate on bikes below 350cc will drop from 28% to 18%. That means models like the Hunter 350, Classic 350, Meteor, Goan Classic, and Bullet — which together make up nearly 87% of Royal Enfield’s sales — are getting cheaper. For many riders, this is a welcome festive-season surprise.
But here’s the flip side. The bigger machines — including the Himalayan 450, Guerrilla 450, Scram 440, and the 650cc beasts like Interceptor, Continental GT, Super Meteor, Shotgun, and Interceptor Bear — will now attract a steep 40% GST, up from 28%. Translation: they’re set to get significantly costlier.
So, if you’ve been eyeing the Hunter 350 or Classic 350, the timing couldn’t be better. But for those dreaming of cruising on the Himalayan or Interceptor 650, the window to grab one at the current price is closing fast.
