Chhattisgarh NEWS : Steps to register, approve and disburse online Post Matric Scholarship for classes 12 to Higher in the academic session 2025-26

It’s being done online. Online applications have been invited from first, second and third year students for the scholarship in three phases. The date of receipt of applications by students for renewal is 31st May, 31st August and 30th November, 2025 and the date of receipt of applications by fresh students is 31st August, 30th September and 30th November, 2025. Students will receive the payment in their Aadhaar seeded bank account within 7 working days. After the due date, the portal for online application of post-matric scholarship for the academic session 2025-26 will be closed and the opportunity to lock the draft proposal and sanction order will also not be provided. The head of the institution will be responsible if the students of the concerned institutions are deprived of the scholarship if they do not complete the proceedings by the due date.
Students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes studying in all government and private colleges, engineering colleges, medical colleges, nursing colleges, polytechnic colleges and ITIs run in the district, who are eligible for the post-matric scholarship run by the department, can apply by the stipulated time. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the parents of SC and ST students will have to submit an income limit of Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum, for OBC category, an income limit of Rs.1 lakh per annum, a permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority, a domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh, the result of the previous year’s examination of the course the student is studying. Payment of Scholarship Post Matric Scholarship is being paid in Aadhaar seeded bank account through PFMS. Therefore, all the students should ensure that they enter their active and Aadhaar seeded bank account online. In the year 2025-26, SC, ST and OBC students are required to obtain OTR (One Time Registration) from the NSP portal. For this, the instructions provided in the State Scholarship Portal can be viewed. In the year 2025-26, biometric authentication of the institution head and scholarship in-charge of the new institution is mandatory.
