‘Run for Cyber Awareness’ Turns Vital Digital-Age Initiative into a Public Movement
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, congratulating Madhya Pradesh Police along with all participants and associates for organising the ‘Run for Cyber Awareness’ awareness campaign, said that the fight against cybercrime is not only of the police but of the entire society. Technology and law are in their place, but the biggest weapon is awareness. When the citizen becomes aware, then only the nation will be safe. He said that the speed with which we have become digitally strong, new problems and dangers have also started to arise. The same technology which has connected us has also given criminals new weapons, and today new forms of fraud have emerged. Crimes like digital arrest, fake profile, hacking, data breaching, online fraud, OTP fraud, online shopping scams, and fake investment links are increasing. These are affecting every section of our society. ‘Run for Cyber Awareness’ is fulfilling the responsibility of citizen safety in the digital age. Cyber soldiers have united for the race of responsibility, security, and awareness. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing participants of the Run for Cyber Awareness organised by Madhya Pradesh Police on Wednesday for cyber security and awareness.

In Case of Cyber Fraud, Immediately Call Helpline Number 1930
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had dreamt of Digital India, he had envisioned making India a technologically strong and self-reliant nation. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India has become a pioneer of digital revolution. Digital payment, online services and e-governance have all become part of everyone’s life today. Madhya Pradesh has also worked to deliver digital services at every level from panchayat to secretariat. From banking to education and from employment to governance, every process is now online. In today’s time, cyber criminals are cheating people sometimes by pretending to be police officers, sometimes as bank managers, and sometimes in the name of government agencies. When a family’s hard-earned money is lost in a moment, or when a student’s future gets trapped in fraud, it becomes a matter of pain for the whole society. If anyone falls victim to cyber fraud, they should immediately call helpline number 1930 or register a report at cybercrime.gov.in. Delay reduces the chances of the victim getting their money back, hence immediate action is the only protection. Just as we have made cleanliness a part of our culture, similarly, we must also make cyber cleanliness a part of our culture.
Constitution Of Digital Age and Culture of Safe Citizen is—Stop, Think and Then Take Action- ‘Run For Cyber Awareness
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that for cybercrime protection, Prime Minister Shri Modi has given us a very meaningful mantra—Stop, Think, and Then Take Action. That means—stop, think, and then act. When an unknown call comes, stop. When an attractive link appears, think. And when you are sure that it is right, only then click. This is the constitution of the digital age, and this is the culture of a safe citizen.
