Vishnu Deo Sai: Rajat Jayanti Year to Feature the Grand MRF National Supercross Championship 2025 in Raipur
Vishnu Deo Sai: As part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, the capital city of Raipur is gearing up to host an electrifying spectacle of speed and spirit. On November 8 and 9, the Budhapara Outdoor Stadium will become the arena of adrenaline and ambition as it stages the MRF National Supercross Bike Racing Championship 2025. The event, organized by the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, will not only showcase India’s top motor racing talent but also deliver a vital social message — the importance of road safety, helmet use, and refraining from racing on public streets.
Ahead of the championship, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai personally mounted a motorcycle to lead by example, urging young people to embrace “safe driving” as a culture. Extending his best wishes for the success of the upcoming championship, he remarked, “Our youth possess immense energy, and it is our collective responsibility to channel that energy in the right direction.”
Emphasizing that “life is precious,” the Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai urged two-wheeler riders to always wear helmets and strictly follow traffic rules. “Never race on public roads,” he cautioned. Sai further noted that the Silver Jubilee Year is not just a celebration of Chhattisgarh’s achievements but also a moment to instill discipline, responsibility, and positive energy among the new generation. “We want Chhattisgarh’s youth to be known not just for their speed, but for their restraint and resolve,” he added.
Ujjwal Deepak, President of the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association, highlighted that the championship aims to provide young people across India with a constructive and inspiring platform. “We want speed to be a passion, not a peril — that’s the true spirit behind this championship,” he said.
A distinctive feature of the event will be its adherence to safety — the races will take place not on public roads, but on a specially designed track built to meet national safety standards.
The two-day Supercross Championship, supported by MRF, will see participation from the nation’s leading riders. The event is expected to put Chhattisgarh firmly on India’s motor sports map, marking yet another milestone in the state’s vibrant Silver Jubilee celebrations.
