CM Mohan Yadav Spoke to Ministers Ahead of the Cabinet Meeting
CM Mohan Yadav announced that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, with Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah attending the closing session. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for a cancer hospital in Chhatarpur on February 23 and formally open the summit on February 24. Preparations are in full swing for the event, which will take place on February 24-25 in Bhopal.
To enhance coordination with foreign investors, business groups, and diplomatic representatives attending the summit, a special meeting is scheduled in New Delhi on February 12. CM Mohan Yadav stated that the Delhi Assembly election results will further accelerate structured development and public welfare initiatives under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. He shared this update while addressing ministers before the Cabinet meeting, which began with the singing of Vande Mataram under his chairmanship at the Ministry.
Addressing the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, CM Mohan Yadav noted that a large number of devotees from Madhya Pradesh and neighboring states are attending. To assist pilgrims traveling from the Rewa region, facilities such as accommodation, meals, and essential supplies for children have been arranged in Rewa, Maihar, Satna, Mauganj, and Sidhi. Government agencies, volunteer groups, and social organizations are working together to ensure smooth operations, including the provision of ambulances, medical staff, and other necessary services. Traffic management measures, including designated parking, police patrolling, and the deployment of executive magistrates, have significantly eased congestion.
CM Mohan Yadav also emphasized that, given the high volume of travelers to and from Prayagraj, route planning is being carried out in coordination with the Prayagraj administration. Arrangements are being made based on projected pilgrim turnout, with traffic regulation efforts extending to the Maharashtra border for devotees and vehicles. He advised pilgrims to plan their journeys using real-time information from Google and other sources to avoid traffic issues and urged Cabinet members to encourage public awareness of this approach.
CM Mohan Yadav further stressed the importance of developing vision documents for each assembly constituency. He proposed that ministers and legislators establish virtual communication systems to strengthen public engagement. This, he suggested, would enhance interaction with constituents at both the local and state levels, ensuring continuous and effective governance.
