CM Nayab Saini said that Kurukshetra, the sacred land of dharma, will now be transformed into the cleanest and most beautiful city in the nation.
CM Nayab Saini,To achieve this, an 11-week campaign has been launched, running from August 24 to November 7, under the banner “Swachh Kurukshetra – Mera Kurukshetra, Mera Abhimaan,” which will showcase Haryana’s identity of cleanliness in every street and neighborhood.
CM Nayab Saini made these remarks while addressing the “Swachh Kurukshetra – Mera Kurukshetra, Mera Abhimaan” program organized by the District Administration at Gita Gyan Sansthanam, Kurukshetra, on Sunday. On this occasion, he, along with Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj and former Haryana Minister Subhash Sudha, unveiled the campaign poster. He also administered a cleanliness pledge to the citizens and officials present and officially launched the 11-week mission.
Highlighting the larger vision, the Chief Minister said that under the ‘Haryana Shehr Swachhta Abhiyan – 2025,’ a mass movement will be carried out to keep every corner of Kurukshetra clean. Committees have already been set up in all 32 wards of the Thanesar Municipal Council, and a detailed action plan has been prepared by the administration to ensure the mission’s success.
He emphasized that during these 11 weeks, officials will work tirelessly to make Kurukshetra clean and beautiful so it stands out as the cleanest city in the country. However, he stressed that this goal can only be achieved with the active participation of the people. If citizens come forward and support the mission wholeheartedly, the dream of a “Swachh Kurukshetra” will certainly become reality.
