CM Nayab Singh Saini : Haryana has delivered outstanding results in the ‘Sampoornata Abhiyan’, an initiative by NITI Aayog, Government of India, which focuses on transforming the country’s most underdeveloped districts and blocks into models of holistic development through progress on six key indicators.
To honour this achievement, the Planning Department of the Haryana Government will host the ‘Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh’ on August 1, 2025, in Chandigarh. CM Nayab Singh Saini will be the Chief Guest at the event.
Nuh District Emerges as a Role Model
Thanks to effective policies by the state government and the dedicated work of local authorities, the aspirational district of Nuh has made notable strides in the education sector. It has successfully met two major benchmarks: 100% electricity coverage in secondary schools and timely delivery of textbooks within one month of the new academic year.
Additionally, five aspirational blocks have achieved complete coverage in issuing soil health cards. These include Bahal and Loharu blocks in Bhiwani district, Badhra in Charkhi Dadri, Nuh, Punhana, and Hathin in Nuh district, and Nahar block in Rewari.
Launch of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0
During the event, CM Nayab Singh Saini will officially launch Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, a follow-up campaign running from August 1 to October 2, 2025. The campaign’s focus areas include timely health check-ups for pregnant women, full treatment for TB patients, on-schedule child vaccinations, improved academic outcomes for students, and clean drinking water access for all households.
