The vibrant festival of Teej will be celebrated with great zeal across Haryana, with CM Nayab Singh Saini set to make key announcements focused on women’s welfare during the State-Level Teej Samaroh in Ambala on July 28.
To ensure the event’s success, CM Nayab Singh reviewed preparations in a meeting held today and gave necessary directives. Thousands of women from across the state are expected to participate in the celebration.
At this state-level function, the Chief Minister will unveil several new initiatives from departments including Development and Panchayats, Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission (HSRLM), Drone Imaging and Information Service of Haryana Limited (DRIISHYA), Women and Child Development, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industries and Commerce, Art and Culture, and the State Urban Livelihood Mission under the Urban Local Bodies Department. These initiatives aim to enhance women’s empowerment and boost their socio-economic upliftment.
Drone Training for SHG Members
CM Nayab Singh highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering women’s independence and empowerment. He announced that members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) will be provided training in drone operations through DRIISHYA in a phased manner.
Sanjha Bazaars to Support SHG Product Sales
To support SHGs in marketing their products, the state is establishing Sanjha Bazaars. These markets are already functional in Karnal, Rohtak, and Fatehabad, with more to come in Jind and Rewari. Eventually, Sanjha Bazaars will be set up across all 22 districts. Currently, 9,640 SHGs have been formed under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Urban Livelihoods Mission in Haryana.
Maliha Sanskritik Kendras to Foster Women’s Cultural Engagement
CM Nayab Singh also announced that Maliha Sanskritik Kendras are being developed within existing Gram Panchayat buildings to provide women with dedicated spaces for cultural, social, and religious activities at the village level. A total of 780 such sites have been identified in 21 districts. Each center will be equipped with musical instruments, furniture, and essential amenities.

Arun Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary Dr. Saket Kumar, Urban Local Bodies Commissioner Sh. Vikas Gupta, DG of the Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department Sh. K.M. Pandurang, DG of MSME Sh. D.K. Behera, and other senior officials.
