Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met with personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in Gadarpur and reviewed their preparedness to handle any emergency situation during the monsoon season.
During the interaction, Chief Minister Dhami appreciated the dedication, discipline and courage of NDRF personnel, saying that their commitment to protecting lives and carrying out rescue operations during challenging situations is highly commendable.
The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is a geographically sensitive state where natural challenges often require quick response and effective disaster management systems. He stated that NDRF teams remain on alert round the clock to ensure public safety and provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
Focus on Strengthening Disaster Management System
CM Dhami highlighted that the state government is continuously working to improve disaster management capabilities by ensuring better coordination among all concerned departments and agencies.

NDRF Teams Ready for Monsoon Challenges
During the meeting in Gadarpur, the Chief Minister took information about the preparations, resources and action plans of NDRF teams for dealing with possible monsoon-related emergencies.
He emphasized the importance of advanced preparedness, modern equipment and trained personnel to tackle situations such as heavy rainfall, floods, landslides and other natural disasters.
