The recognition of Ambikapur’s Garbage Café reflects the state’s commitment to cleanliness, recycling, and social responsibility.”
The Garbage Café allows citizens to exchange plastic waste for meals. Individuals bringing one kilogram of plastic waste are served a full meal, while those bringing half a kilogram receive snacks. The initiative has become a model for sustainable urban waste management and community engagement.
CM Sai also highlighted PM Modi’s praise for Indian-bred security dogs, particularly noting their role in detecting explosives and saving lives in Maoist-affected areas. “The inclusion of indigenous breeds in security operations demonstrates their reliability, efficiency, and adaptability,” he said.
Addressing the decline in Maoist activities, the CM Vishnu Dev Sai remarked, “Thanks to the strong resolve of the double-engine government, peace and security are being restored in previously affected regions. Operations like ‘Sindoor’ have brought joy to communities once overshadowed by terror, reflecting the people’s desire to eradicate Maoist threats completely.”

On environmental conservation, CM Vishnu Dev Sai shared PM Modi’s call to citizens to join the ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’ campaign, encouraging participation in nationwide tree-planting efforts to promote ecological sustainability.

Concluding the day’s activities, CM Vishnu Dev Sai visited the Punganur breed cows, feeding them and learning about their unique traits. The Punganur breed, native to Andhra Pradesh, is renowned for its distinct physical characteristics and exceptional qualities.
