CM Vishnu Dev Sai : An atmosphere of peace, tranquility and peace will soon be established in Bastar.
CM Vishnu Dev Sai said, “Our policy is clear – reply to speech with speech and reply to bullet with bullet. For those Naxals who want to surrender and return to the mainstream of society, our government is providing better life and rehabilitation facilities. Those who leave the path of violence and take the path of republic are welcome. ”
CM Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the security forces on the surrender of Naxals in various districts of Bastar division and saluted their courage. He said seven Maoists carrying a total reward of Rs 32 lakh surrendered in Kanker district today. Earlier, 27 Naxals from Narayanpur district and 9 from Sukma district, carrying a reward of Rs 52 lakh, surrendered before the security forces. This is a direct result of the surrender policy and the campaign against Naxalism.
So far, 941 Naxals have surrendered, while 1,112 Naxals have been arrested by the security forces. In Naxalite encounters, 265 Naxals have been killed, and Naxals are surrendering leaving behind the hollow ideology of Naxalism. This is an indication that Naxalism is now counting its last breath.
CM Vishnu Dev Sai said that he meets the surrendered Naxals and feels that they are now living a better life and are happy. Infrastructure and requirements are being developed under government schemes to eliminate the Naxal base in Bastar.
He also informed that 15,000 Prime Minister’s residences have been sanctioned for surrendered Naxals and Naxal affected families. An atmosphere of peace, tranquillity and tranquillity will soon be established in Bastar.
