CM Yogi Adityanath said that with the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the last 8 years, the Uttar Pradesh government has given about 8.5 lakh government jobs to the youth. During this period, the state has made remarkable progress in every field. Earlier, there was a crisis of identity in front of the youth, but now the government is establishing them at the global level.
CM Yogi Adityanath handed over appointment letters to 163 Ayurvedic Medical Officers, 2 Vice Chancellors, 19 Homoeopathic Professors, 3 Spokespersons and 96 Laboratory Assistants. He said that this programme is a testimony to the transparency and impartiality of the government. If the recruitment process was not honest, many cases would have been pending in the courts.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that as per the expectations of the Prime Minister, Uttar Pradesh is moving towards becoming the growth engine of the country’s economy. Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Naturopathy and Siddha systems of medicine are being promoted under the Ayush department in the state. The Prime Minister gave a new impetus to traditional medicine by forming the Ministry of AYUSH. Earlier people used to hesitate about yoga, but now 193 countries are celebrating International Yoga Day, which has increased global respect for India’s traditions.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the Ayurvedic system of medicine is based on the wisdom of the ancient sages of India and it not only cures diseases but also promotes a healthy lifestyle. AYUSH University has been established in the state and 2,114 Ayurveda, 254 Unani and 1,585 Homeopathic hospitals are running. In addition, AYUSH Nirman Shalas are coming up in Lucknow and Pilibhit and 50 bedded AYUSH hospitals have been established in 15 districts.
The Chief Minister informed that 1,034 Ayushman Arogya Kendras and 225 Yoga and Wellness Centres have also been started in the state. The government is making efforts to promote health tourism, which will also generate employment opportunities. He stressed the need to adopt natural farming, organic food and traditional medicine to improve the health of the people.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the Forensic Science Lab (FSL) will play an important role in the new laws implemented in 2024. Earlier there were only 4 FSL labs in the state, but now 12 are operational and 6 are under construction. The government is planning to set up one FSL lab in each range.
He said that in order to improve law and order in Uttar Pradesh, more than 1.56 lakh recruitments have been made in the police department and recently the recruitment process of 60,200 policemen has been completed. The appointment process in various departments is also being completed with transparency and promptness.
Referring to the success of Mahakumbh and other religious events, CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state has taken a leading position in the field of spiritual tourism. He exhorted the youth to perform their duties sincerely and contribute to the development of the state.
Minister of State for AYUSH Dr. Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’ also addressed the programme and the newly selected candidates thanked the Chief Minister for the fair recruitment process.
