Chhattisgarh NEWS : Industrialists are increasingly showing interest in investing in green fuel initiatives in Chhattisgarh. During a meeting in Bengaluru, Deepak Agarwal of GPSR Arya Pvt. Ltd. informed Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai that his company is actively working on producing Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) from stubble in the state. He shared plans to establish CBG plants across various districts, which will not only provide farmers with additional income from crop residues but also help reduce pollution.
The company has recently set up a fully operational CBG plant in Bemetara district in collaboration with Indian Oil. Deepak Agarwal conveyed to the Chief Minister that, following the success of this project, they aim to replicate the model in other districts of Chhattisgarh. This initiative will boost biofuel production and enhance the state’s role in sustainable energy development.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting green energy. He highlighted that Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy offers special incentives for biofuel and eco-friendly projects. Several other industry representatives also expressed interest in investing in the state during the meeting.
