CM Yogi to launch ₹511 crore road projects in Bareilly, including 14 inaugurations and 44 new works to boost infrastructure and connectivity.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to visit Bareilly soon for a major development program focused on infrastructure expansion. Although the exact date of the visit has not yet been officially confirmed, preparations are already underway at the administrative level.
During the proposed visit, the Chief Minister is likely to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for road projects worth over ₹511 crore, marking a significant push to strengthen connectivity in the region.
14 Roads to Be Inaugurated Across Key Regions
As part of the development plan, 14 completed roads spanning around 113 kilometers will be inaugurated. These projects, built at a cost of approximately ₹242 crore, cover key areas including Nawabganj, Baheri, Mirganj, Faridpur, and Aonla.
Major works include road widening under the industrial logistics park scheme in Nawabganj and completion of several upgraded highway stretches across the district.

44 New Road Projects to Strengthen Connectivity
In addition, foundation stones will be laid for 44 new road projects worth around ₹269.63 crore across different assembly constituencies.
Key projects include the widening of the Baheri-Wahpur-Nadeli Bhadiya Colony road and several rural connectivity routes aimed at improving transport infrastructure and accessibility.
Officials stated that these developments will significantly improve road connectivity and reduce travel time across the district.
Solid Waste Management Plant Also in Focus
Ahead of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit, preparations have also intensified for the operational launch of the Sathaerapur Solid Waste Management Plant. The facility is designed to scientifically process around 500 metric tons of waste daily.
Municipal authorities are working on installing advanced machinery and studying successful waste management models from cities like Indore and Gujarat to improve efficiency.
Environmental experts believe the plant will help eliminate roadside dumping, improve cleanliness, and enhance Bareilly’s overall sanitation ranking once operational.
