At the Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi Adityanath assured that no patient will be denied treatment due to lack of funds and ordered swift housing for the needy.
Underscoring his government’s commitment to public welfare, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday stated that no individual in the state would be deprived of medical care due to financial constraints. Speaking at a Janata Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple, the Chief Minister assured citizens that the state would bear the cost of treatment for those in need.
During the interaction, several attendees sought financial assistance for serious ailments. Adityanath promptly directed administrative officials to expedite the preparation of cost estimates for high-quality medical treatment. He emphasized that once the formal estimates are submitted, the government will release the necessary funds without delay to ensure life-saving care is not interrupted.
Swift Resolution of Public Grievances
At the Janata Darshan, the Chief Minister personally met with approximately 200 people outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan. He listened to a wide array of concerns, ranging from land disputes to police matters, and collected applications for a detailed review.
“Do not worry. The government will ensure an effective and quality resolution to every problem,” the Chief Minister told the gathering, reinforcing his stance on responsive governance.
To ensure accountability, he instructed police and administrative officers to address all complaints in a time-bound and impartial manner. He stressed that sensitivity and promptness should be the hallmarks of official conduct when dealing with the public.

Commitment to Housing
Apart from healthcare, the issue of permanent shelter was a major point of discussion. Several women raised concerns regarding their lack of housing. In response, Adityanath reiterated that the state is dedicated to the mission of “Housing for All.” He ordered officials to identify any eligible individuals who have been left out of the Pradhan Mantri or Chief Minister Housing Schemes and ensure they receive their benefits immediately.
The Janata Darshan serves as a vital platform for direct communication between the leadership and the public. By personally overseeing the grievance redressal process, the Chief Minister aims to bypass bureaucratic hurdles and provide immediate relief to the common man.
The Friday session concluded with a firm directive to the administration: ensure that the resolution of every issue is not just fast, but of a quality that satisfies the complainant.
