CM Yogi Adityanath takes a tough stand on Noida unrest. STF to probe the conspiracy, posters of 45 rioters to be put in public places. Read more.
Taking a formidable stand against the recent chaos in the industrial hub of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has initiated a high-level crackdown. To ensure long-term deterrence, the state government has announced that photos of miscreants involved in the Noida unrest will be displayed on posters across public places.
CM Yogi Directs STF to Probe Noida Unrest
The Chief Minister has officially handed over the investigation of the Noida unrest to the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF). Emphasizing a “zero-tolerance” policy toward lawlessness, CM Yogi has demanded a swift and comprehensive report. He stated that any attempt to disrupt the industrial peace of Noida under the guise of labor protests will be met with the strictest possible legal action.
Identifying External Elements in Noida Unrest
Following the CM’s directives, the police have identified 45 individuals who were reportedly masquerading as laborers to incite violence. Investigations reveal that these individuals are “non-workers” who infiltrated the protest to fuel the Noida unrest.
Current Action Status:
Posters in Public: Photos and details of the 45 identified miscreants are being prepared to be pasted at major intersections and public squares.
Detentions: Over 396 individuals have been taken into custody so far.
Arrests: 66 accused persons have been formally arrested for their direct involvement in the violence.

International Conspiracy Suspected
The scale of the Noida unrest has alerted national security agencies. Initial findings suggest a deeper, potentially international, conspiracy designed to tarnish Uttar Pradesh’s image as a global industrial destination. The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has already arrested eight suspects allegedly linked to a conspiracy hatched outside the country to orchestrate the Noida unrest.
Restoring Law and Order
The administration has made it clear that while legitimate labor grievances are handled through proper channels, anarchy will not be tolerated. By making the faces of the rioters public, the government aims to expose the intent behind the Noida unrest and prevent future disruptions.
Security has been beefed up across Gautam Buddh Nagar, and the STF is currently scanning digital footprints and financial trails to identify the masterminds behind the Noida unrest.
