CM Yogi orders SIT probe into Ram Temple donation allegations in Ayodhya, urges restraint and transparency until the investigation report is submitted.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered a high-level investigation into allegations related to donations received at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister confirmed that a Ram Temple SIT Probe has been constituted to examine all claims and ensure transparency in the matter.
Speaking in Ayodhya, CM Yogi Adityanath said the Ram Temple SIT Probe was initiated following a request from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He urged devotees, political leaders, and organisations to avoid making speculative statements until the investigation is completed.
He expressed confidence that the Ram Temple SIT Probe will uncover the truth and clearly distinguish facts from misinformation being circulated around the issue. The Chief Minister also appealed to individuals possessing any documentary evidence to submit it before the investigation team.
The Uttar Pradesh government had formed a three-member SIT on June 14, assigning senior officials including the Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, Inspector General Kiran S, and Special Secretary (Finance) Neel Ratan to lead the Ram Temple SIT Probe. The committee has been directed to submit its findings at the earliest.

CM Yogi emphasized the importance of maintaining patience and dignity, stating that devotees have waited for centuries for the construction of the Ram Temple and should now allow the Ram Temple SIT Probe to proceed without interference or speculation.
Without naming any political party, he alleged that certain groups were attempting to spread misinformation and damage the reputation of Ayodhya and the sacred Ram Janmabhoomi site. He said such efforts must stop immediately so that the Ram Temple SIT Probe can be completed in a fair and impartial manner.
He also made it clear that strict action would be taken if any wrongdoing is established during the Ram Temple SIT Probe, regardless of the individuals involved.
The controversy began after allegations were made regarding misappropriation of donations, which were strongly denied by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The trust stated that all contributions are properly recorded and managed through a transparent system.
The Ram Temple SIT Probe is expected to submit its report in the coming weeks after a detailed examination of all facts and evidence.
