CM Yogi Adityanath will visit Aligarh on June 22. Administration has intensified preparations for cleanliness, security and development project inaugurations.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit Aligarh on June 22 for a two-day official tour, prompting the district administration and municipal bodies to accelerate preparations across the city.
In view of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit, the Aligarh Municipal Corporation has deployed dedicated teams to ensure cleanliness and improve civic infrastructure. Special focus is being given to major routes such as Collectorate Road and University Road, where cleaning drives and trimming of plants are being carried out to enhance the city’s appearance.
According to officials, CM Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate several key development projects during his visit, including the Naurangilal Sports Complex and the Quarsi Overbridge, among other infrastructure initiatives. These projects are expected to significantly strengthen the region’s urban development framework.

The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also likely to review ongoing development works and hold a high-level administrative meeting during his visit. Officials said that grievances related to various departments may also be examined during the review session.
District Magistrate Avinash Kumar is set to hold a preparatory meeting with senior officials at the Collectorate auditorium to ensure all arrangements are completed smoothly. The administration has been instructed to maintain coordination among departments to avoid any disruptions during the visit.
Municipal authorities are working on a war footing to ensure cleanliness, traffic management, and overall city beautification ahead of the Chief Minister’s arrival, aiming to present Aligarh in its best form during the high-profile visit.
