CM Yogi Adityanath will raise the commission for over 78,000 UP ration dealers from ₹90 to ₹125 per quintal and launch an e-POS feedback system.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to announce a major benefit for more than 78,000 fair price shop dealers in the state. Their commission will be increased from ₹90 to ₹125 per quintal. Along with this, an e-POS-based feedback system for ration dealers will also be launched.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening the public distribution system and creating a digital channel through which fair price shop dealers can share their feedback about the delivery and distribution process.
Ration Dealers to Get Higher Commission
Under the new decision, the commission for more than 78,000 fair price shop dealers across Uttar Pradesh will rise to ₹125 per quintal from the existing ₹90.
The increase is expected to provide additional financial support to ration dealers associated with the state’s public distribution network.
e-POS Feedback System to Be Launched
CM Yogi Adityanath will also launch an e-POS-based Fair Price Shop Dealer Feedback System under the single-stage door-step delivery mechanism.
The new digital facility will allow dealers to record their experiences and feedback through e-POS devices. The system is expected to provide authorities with direct inputs from dealers involved in the ration distribution process.
CM Yogi is scheduled to launch the initiative at 9:30 am at the Lok Bhawan auditorium in Lucknow.

Senior Ministers to Attend the Programme
Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak are expected to attend the programme. Food and Logistics Minister Manoj Kumar Pandey and Minister of State Satish Chandra Sharma will also be present.
The initiative is being presented as a step towards improving communication between fair price shop dealers and the administration through digital technology.
CM Yogi to Visit Gorakhpur
After the Lucknow programme, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will travel to Gorakhpur. At around 3 pm, he will attend the closing and prize distribution ceremony of the state-level prize-money men’s wrestling competition at the fairground of Shri Gorakhnath Temple.
The event is being organised on the occasion of Nag Panchami, which holds special significance for traditional wrestling activities in several parts of North India.
Winners to Be Honoured in Three Categories
The Chief Minister will felicitate winners of three categories during the wrestling competition. These include Uttar Pradesh Kesari, Uttar Pradesh Kumar and Uttar Pradesh Veer Abhimanyu.
The recognition is expected to encourage wrestlers and promote the state’s traditional sporting culture.
Focus on Ration Distribution and Sports
CM Yogi Adityanath’s schedule combines initiatives related to the public distribution system and sports promotion. While the increase in dealer commission is aimed at supporting fair price shop dealers, the e-POS feedback system seeks to strengthen digital communication within the ration distribution network.
The Gorakhpur programme, meanwhile, will honour wrestlers who have performed well in the state-level competition.
