CMF Buds Neo launch in India at ₹1,999 with 35dB ANC, spatial audio, dual-device support and up to 52 hours of battery life.
Nothing’s CMF sub-brand has introduced the CMF Buds Neo in India, bringing active noise cancellation, spatial audio and a distinctive charging case to the company’s budget true wireless earbuds segment. The new earbuds are priced at ₹1,999 and are currently positioned as an India-exclusive product.
The CMF Buds Neo arrive shortly after CMF expanded its audio portfolio with a clip-on earbud model. Despite being the brand’s most affordable earbuds yet, the new model includes several features generally associated with more expensive wireless earphones.
CMF Buds Neo Features ANC and Spatial Audio
The CMF Buds Neo use an in-ear design with angled earbuds and silicone tips designed to create a secure seal. Each earbud houses a 12.4mm dynamic driver and two microphones.
For noise management, the earbuds support active noise cancellation of up to 35dB along with a transparency mode. Spatial audio is also available, while users can connect the earbuds to two devices at the same time.
CMF has also included Clear Voice Technology, which is designed to improve voice clarity during calls, particularly in outdoor environments.
Up to 52 Hours of Battery Backup
Battery life is another major highlight of the CMF Buds Neo. CMF rates the earbuds for up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge, while the charging case takes total battery life to as much as 52 hours.
Using ANC reduces the overall playback time, as noise cancellation requires additional power. The earbuds also support fast charging, with CMF claiming that a 10-minute charge can provide up to 5.5 hours of listening time.
Nothing X App Support and Low-Latency Mode
The CMF Buds Neo work with the Nothing X application, which provides users with access to several controls and audio settings.
Through the app, users can switch between noise cancellation modes, enable spatial audio and activate a low-latency mode. The latter could be useful for users who frequently watch videos or play games on their smartphones.
The earbuds carry an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for everyday use, workouts, sweat and light splashes.

Fidget Spinner-Style Charging Case
One of the most unusual design elements of the CMF Buds Neo is its charging case. The earbuds and case feature a two-tone finish, while the case includes a dial-like element.
Unlike the functional dial found on some higher-end CMF models, the one on the Buds Neo case does not control any feature. Instead, it can be rotated and used as a fidget spinner.
The earbuds will be available in Black, Dark Blue and White colour options.
CMF Buds Neo Price and Availability in India
The CMF Buds Neo have been launched at ₹1,999 in India, making them one of CMF’s most affordable true wireless earbud offerings.
The earbuds will go on sale through Flipkart from August 26. Buyers looking for early access can purchase them at the Nothing Store in Bengaluru from August 22 at 11 AM.
At this price point, the combination of ANC, spatial audio, dual-device connectivity, long battery life and the distinctive case design makes the CMF Buds Neo an interesting option in India’s budget TWS market.
