Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has emphasized that no school in the city can increase fees at their discretion. Speaking on Friday, January 9, she reflected on her government’s accomplishments over its 11-month tenure, highlighting transparency, clear policies, and citizen-first governance.
CM Gupta stated that her administration has achieved more in 11 months than what previous governments could in 11 years. “Every action of our government is driven by a clear policy and intent. We have worked tirelessly for Delhi’s betterment, and I assure citizens that the city’s future will be brighter and more prosperous,” she said.

Key Announcements and Achievements by CM Rekha Gupta
GST Refunds for Traders: For the first time in years, Delhi traders received their GST refunds within the stipulated timeframe.
Financial Assistance for the Differently-Abled: A new scheme now provides ₹6,000 in support to differently-abled citizens.
100% EV Public Transport Goal: The government is actively moving toward making Delhi’s public transport fully electric.
Atal Canteen Project: Out of the promised 100 Atal Canteens, 45 have been completed, with the remaining 55 underway.
Health Schemes Implementation: Ayushman Bharat and Vay Vandana Yojana were approved immediately after the government took office. Over 4 lakh citizens registered for these schemes in 11 months, including 2 lakh elderly under Vay Vandana. So far, 19,000 people have received treatment, and claims worth over ₹32 crore have been processed.
Arogya Mandirs Expansion: The government has established 238 Arogya Mandirs, with plans to increase this number to 1,100.
Organ Donation System: Delhi now has a structured organ donation platform through the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTTO).

CM Rekha Gupta stressed that governance is about service, not power display. Decisions are made with coordination and a citizen-first approach. “Our short tenure of 11 months has already set Delhi on a new trajectory. Every initiative reflects a commitment to national service and transparency,” she said.
