Delhi government inaugurates state-of-the-art computer labs in 100 schools; CM Rekha Gupta emphasizes modernization of education and equal opportunities for students.
In a major step towards strengthening digital education, the Delhi government on Tuesday inaugurated state-of-the-art computer labs in 100 government schools across the capital. The initiative aims to provide students with modern learning facilities and enhance the overall quality of education in public institutions.
Alongside the computer labs, newly constructed four-story buildings were inaugurated at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Mansarovar Garden, and DIET Dilshad Garden. The expansion reflects the government’s commitment to creating modern infrastructure for students across the city.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, while addressing the event, emphasized that her administration has given a new direction to Delhi’s education system over the past year. She cited measures such as curbing arbitrary fees in private schools, introducing updated curricula, and strengthening digital education in government schools as clear indicators of progress.

The event was attended by Cabinet Associate Ashish Sood, MLA Harish Khurana, and several other dignitaries who lauded the government’s focus on student development and equitable education opportunities.
