Divya Mittal Resigned After 13 Years of Administrative Service

Divya Mittal voluntarily resigned from the IAS in August after completing around 13 years in administrative service. At the time of her resignation, she was serving as Special Secretary in the Revenue Department of Uttar Pradesh.

Her decision soon led to speculation about her next career move. Discussions ranged from returning to the private sector and pursuing opportunities abroad to writing a book, entering coaching or even joining politics. However, none of these possibilities has been confirmed as her final decision.

Addressing the questions being raised about her future, Divya Mittal indicated that she would provide the answer herself.

Why Did Divya Mittal Leave the IAS?

From IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore to the IAS

Before joining the civil services, Divya Mittal studied at IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore. She later worked in London but eventually returned to India, saying that she felt a strong connection with her country and wanted to contribute to its development.
