Gold price falls ₹1050 in two days in India, silver also declines. Check latest gold and silver rates across major cities.
Gold and silver prices continued their downward trend in the domestic market on the second consecutive day. Gold lost its shine as global uncertainty and fluctuations in crude oil prices impacted investor sentiment, while weak industrial demand added pressure on silver rates.

On 9 June, Delhi witnessed a marginal decline of ₹10 in both 24-carat and 22-carat gold rates.

Silver Prices Under Pressure
Silver also remained weak after a brief period of stability. On the second consecutive day, silver prices declined further. Over the last two days, silver has fallen by around ₹5100 per kilogram, following an earlier drop of nearly ₹15,000 in the previous sessions.
Today, silver is trading at ₹2,59,900 per kg in Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. However, Chennai remains the most expensive market with silver priced at ₹2,69,900 per kg.
Market Outlook
Experts suggest that rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia and volatility in crude oil prices have increased uncertainty in global markets. At the same time, weakening industrial demand has put additional pressure on silver prices
