On Independence Day, August 15, Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh will unfurl the national flag in Ambala, accompanied by Energy Minister Anil Vij, while CM Nayab Singh Saini will lead the flag hoisting ceremony in Rohtak.
According to a notification issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, all flag hoisting events across the state will begin at 9:00 AM.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan will preside over the ceremony in Panipat, and Deputy Speaker Dr. Krishan Kumar Middha in Sonipat. Development & Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar will hoist the flag in Thanesar/Kurukshetra, Industries Minister Rao Narbir Singh in Rewari, School Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda in Kaithal, and Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Vipul Goel in Mahendragarh.
Cooperation Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma will be chief guest in Karnal, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana in Gurugram, and Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa in Fatehabad. Social Justice & Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar will hoist the flag in Hisar, Women & Child Development Minister Shruti Choudhry in Panchkula, and Health Minister Arti Singh Rao in Nuh.
Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Rajesh Nagar will preside in Sirsa, while Minister of State for Youth Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Gaurav Gautam will do so in Faridabad.
Flag hoisting duties in various districts will be carried out by MLAs, MPs, Divisional Commissioners, Zila Parishad Chairpersons, and Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) at multiple locations, including Ambala, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Gurugram, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Mahendragarh, Nuh, Palwal, Panchkula, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonipat, Yamunanagar, and their respective sub-divisions.
These ceremonies will mark the state-wide celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day with participation from senior leaders, local representatives, and administrative officials.
