Gurugram: Chief minister, Nayab Singh, unveils fifty brand-new electric cars for rubbish collection.

Over 500 vans are used for door-to-door waste pickup.

Additionally, the Chief Minister launches sanitary pad and cloth bag vending machines.

These devices will shortly be placed in a number of the city’s areas.

Today, Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh inaugurated 50 new electric cars for door-to-door waste pickup, enhancing the city of Gurugram’s cleaning infrastructure. With the addition of these new cars, the total has surpassed 500.

Notably, the Gurugram Municipal Corporation is putting a lot of effort into enhancing the cleaning system, which includes rubbish collection from door to door. Under this, the quantity of machines and cars is progressively increased. In addition, 19 HCS officials have been tasked with keeping an eye on the cleanliness system throughout each of the corporation area’s wards. The government’s Solid Waste Environmental Excellence Performance (SWEEP) program monitors the disposal of waste and the cleaning system. In order to ensure regular rubbish collection, secondary garbage collection stations like Khandsa and Vatika Chowk have also been transformed to zero garbage points.

Put an emphasis on environmental preservation by using electric door-to-door cars.

The Chief Minister’s announcement today about electric cars would not only expedite domestic trash collection, but they will also contribute to environmental preservation.

Inauguration of cloth bag vending machines
As part of the initiative to make Gurugram free of single-use plastic and polythene carry bags, the Chief Minister unveiled vending machines for cloth bags. These devices will shortly be placed in a number of Gurugram public spaces. By using UPI or a Rs. 10 coin, citizens can obtain cloth bags, which encourages them to shun single-use plastics. Additionally, the Chief Minister opened sanitary pad vending devices that will both give fresh pads and enable the disposal of used ones.

Nishant Kumar Yadav, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Dr. Narhari Singh Bangar, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Dr. Balpreet Singh, Joint Commissioner (Swachh Bharat Mission), and Dr. Naresh Kumar.
