CM Nayab : Major Boost to Urban Development with Sewerage, Road, and Wastewater Projects in Haryana Towns
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has granted administrative approval for a series of major infrastructure projects totaling Rs. 4549.19 lakh in Barwala, Kaithal, and Kalanwali towns. These initiatives are designed to enhance the sewerage system, restore roads, and upgrade essential urban facilities, underscoring the government’s ongoing commitment to improving public services and urban infrastructure.
Sewerage Line Installation in Barwala Town
A comprehensive project has been approved to install sewerage lines in uncovered streets across the identified areas of Barwala Town. This initiative will extend to several wards, including Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 8, Ward 10, and Ward 16. By addressing gaps in the existing sewerage network, the project aims to provide efficient wastewater management, benefitting a large portion of the town’s population. The project has been allocated Rs. 470.04 lakh.
Advanced Sewer Line Cleaning in Barwala Town
To ensure the efficient operation of the current sewerage infrastructure, advanced Super Suction De-Silting Machines will be used to clean the sewer lines across Barwala Town. This modern cleaning method will improve the efficiency of the sewer system, prevent blockages, and enhance overall sanitation. The cleaning project has been sanctioned at a cost of Rs.412.02 lakh.
Road Restoration in Kaithal Town
Kaithal Town will undergo road restoration in areas impacted by the installation of sewer systems. CM Nayab ,This project focuses on repairing stretches of roads that were damaged during sewerage work, ensuring safe and smooth transportation. It aims to address public grievances regarding road conditions. A budget of Rs. 773.34 lakh has been allocated for this restoration work.
Rising Main Installation in Kalanwali Town
In Kalanwali Town, a key project has been approved for the installation of a rising main using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes. This pipeline will connect the existing 9.50 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to the Ruri Ghaggar Drain near Village Phaggu. The project is expected to significantly improve wastewater management, adhering to environmental and public health standards. With an investment of Rs. 2893.93 lakh, it is the largest of the approved initiatives.
CM Nayab : An official spokesperson said that these projects aims to enhance the quality of life for residents in the targeted towns.
