CM Nayab chairs District Public Relations and Grievances Committee meeting in Gurugram, directs officers to ensure cleanliness parameters are met
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini while chairing the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee meeting in Gurugram on Thursday issued strict directions to the officers concerned to ensure cleanliness in the district. He said that special attention should be given to cleanliness in the city to make Gurugram clean and beautiful. He said that during the next month’s meeting, he would personally see the steps taken by the officers concerned to ensure cleanliness in Gurugram. Ensure that the general public should not face any problem due to unclean surroundings, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
Union Minister of State, Rao Inderjit Singh, Cabinet Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, MLAs, Smt. Bimla Chaudhary, Sh. Mukesh Sharma, Sh. Tejpal Tanwar remained present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister said that ensuring hasslefree delivery of public services is the utmost priority of the state government, therefore the officers of all departments must visit the field to ensure that the services are provided to the public without any delay, no laxity will be tolerated. Strict action will be taken against any officer if complaints are received from the citizens, said CM Nayab Singh Saini.
During the meeting, a total of 23 grievances were tabled before the Chief Minister, of which 19 were resolved on the spot. The Chief Minister directed the officers to submit the status report of the remaining complaints tabled in the meeting.
CM Nayab while taking cognizance of the issue related to the treated water quality from all Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) directed that the quality of treated water be regularly checked for a clean environment. He further directed that officers ensure that after lab tests, the water should only be provided to farmers for agricultural work.

Meanwhile, taking strict cognizance of a complaint regarding illegal encroachment on government land in village Sarai Alawardi, CM Nayab directed the municipal corporation officers to immediately remove all illegal encroachments from the land. A community hall should be constructed on this land to provide better facilities for public events, he directed.
On the issue related to installation of illegal advertising materials in the Laser Valley area, the Chief Minister directed that all problems related to public lights, CCTV cameras, and musical fountains in the area should be resolved at the earliest. He also directed the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation to prepare a new policy for placing advertisement hoardings at unipoles and bus stops in the city to avoid revenue losses for the corporation. Bids for advertising sites should be invited, directed the Chief Minister.
While hearing a case related to 100 square-yard plots in village Jatola, the Chief Minister said that all officers should ensure that eligible beneficiaries get benefit of all government schemes. Similarly while hearing the issue of blocking of the path leading to the temple in the village Silokhera, he directed the officers concerned to conduct an inquiry and transfer the Station house Officer for showing negligence in the issue.
Issuing directions regarding incomplete work of constructing a chaupal in New Gwal Pahari, the Chief Minister directed the officers concerned that the said work should be completed, a booster should be installed for water supply in village Sikanderpur Ghosi, and electricity supply should be ensured in village Pathredi.
*Directions issued for laying and maintenance of Sewerage Lines as per Growing Population in Gurugram*
While hearing complaints regarding sewerage issues from different areas, the Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to ensure sewerage systems are strengthened according to the growing population’s demands to ensure proper water drainage. Revised plans should be prepared when laying new sewer lines in any area, and consultations should be held with the respective RWAs and local residents, directed Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
