CM Nayab Singh : Concerned officers should ensure timely lifting of paddy from the markets, directs CM
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini while visiting the grain markets in the Kurukshetra assured that every single grain produced by farmers would be procured. Besides this, he also assured timely payments of the said procurement. He said that the state government is committed to protecting the interests of farmers. All basic facilities have been provided in the markets so that farmers face no difficulties in selling their crops. Additionally, the timely lifting of paddy from the markets will also be ensured, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
The Chief Minister visited the grain markets of Pipli, Ladwa, and Babain in Kurukshetra district. Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Dr. G. Anupama, Deputy Commissioner Sh. Rajesh Jogpal and Superintendent of Police Sh. Varun Singla welcomed the Chief Minister. Former Minister of State, Sh. Subhash Sudha, was also present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister also checked the moisture content of the paddy using a moisture metre during his visit. He interacted with farmers, Arhtiyas and representatives of Kisan Unions to gather information about the paddy procurement process. He said that the purchase of paddy is proceeding smoothly according to the set parameters. In addition to paddy, the government is also purchasing Bajra.
The Chief Minister also interacted with the Arhtiyas and farmers to understand their issues. Farmers raised concerns about the non-lifting of paddy, non-issuance of RO and other problems. The Chief Minister immediately directed the officers concerned to address these issues and also ensure that farmers should not face any difficulties in the markets. If any local millers are not purchasing or lifting the paddy, another miller can take over the task, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
The Chief Minister said that farmers are free to sell their crops at any market. He also strictly directed the officers that the farmers should not face any problems in the markets. He said that strict action would be taken against any officer found negligent in this work.

Taking a jibe at the Congress party, the Chief Minister said that Congress never rose above corruption and dynastic politics. In the past, they had won power by deceiving people in several states, including Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and others. Congress has lost its credibility .
Later interacting with the media persons, the Chief Minister congratulated the people and party workers on the formation of the BJP government in Haryana for the third time. He expressed gratitude to the public for their support and announced that, in line with a pre-election promise, the examination results for 25,000 posts would be released soon, even before the oath-taking ceremony.
