Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana, chaired a meeting of the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) in Yamunanagar. Reviewing in detail the development works underway in the district, he directed officers concerned to ensure that all projects are completed in a phased and time-bound manner. Yamunanagar MLA, Sh. Ghanshyam Das Arora was also present in the meeting.
The Minister directed the officers to ensure that all works related to their respective departments are completed by November 30, and to carry out regular inspection and quality checks of materials used in construction activities. He emphasized that all departments must assess and fully utilize the budget allocated for the welfare of farmers and the general public so that no funds lapse.
He sanctioned Rs. 5 lakh to the Red Cross Society for distributing tricycles, artificial limbs, and hearing aids to eligible registered Persons With Disabilities.
The Agriculture Minister further directed the officers to submit the Utilization Certificates (UCs) for all development works completed so far, enabling the government to initiate further projects without delay.
He added that officers of all departments must take every necessary measure to implement the Haryana Government’s policies and schemes effectively so that the public receives the full benefit. Whatever support is required, the government is ready to provide, he assured.
