To support candidates appearing in the upcoming Group C CET exam, the Haryana Government has entrusted the State Transport Department with facilitating free transportation. On July 26 and 27, 2025, candidates will be offered free bus services from their nearest district-level bus stands to their respective exam centers and back. Female candidates will be permitted to travel with one accompanying family member at no charge. These arrangements will be overseen by the General Managers of each transport depot.
A Transport Department spokesperson shared that the CET exam will be held in two sessions—morning (10:00 AM to 11:45 AM) and afternoon (3:00 PM to 4:45 PM). To ensure timely arrival, buses will drop candidates at exam center bus stops by 7:30 AM for the morning shift and by 12:30 PM for the afternoon shift.
Additionally, where feasible, Haryana State Transport will operate free shuttle services closer to exam centers to ease last-mile connectivity. Around 9,000 buses will be deployed exclusively for CET duty across the state over the two days.
Candidates can also pre-book their travel by visiting [https://hartrans.gov.in/advance-booking-for-cet-2025/]. After entering personal and contact details, they can reserve seats for exam day travel.
The department has also urged the general public to avoid unnecessary travel on July 26 and 27, as a majority of buses will be dedicated to CET-related services, reducing availability for regular passengers.
Reaffirming its commitment to safe and timely transport, the spokesperson stated that Haryana Roadways, with its fleet of nearly 4,000 buses across 24 depots and 13 sub-depots, serves around 7 lakh passengers daily, covering 11 lakh kilometers. Alongside public service, the department takes pride in its role in delivering key government initiatives and upholding its social responsibilities.
