Haryana Minister of Civil Aviation and Health, Dr. Kamal Gupta said that a grand Welcome Gate, designed with the Ashoka Chakra, is being constructed near the Cantt on the Delhi Road in Hisar. The gate is being built at a cost of approximately Rs.4 crore.
Haryana Minister of Civil Aviation and Health, Dr. Kamal Gupta was inspecting the construction of the Welcome Gate, the crematorium at Rishi Nagar, and the Town Park today.
Haryana Minister of Civil Aviation and Health, Dr. Gupta stated that this Welcome Gate is being built using modern technology and has an earthquake-resistant structure. The National Highway is currently a 4-lane road, but it may be expanded to 6 lanes in the future. Considering this possibility, the gate has been designed with a width of 120 feet and a height of 9 meters. The gate features India’s national emblem, the Ashoka Chakra, made of steel. The construction of the gate’s pillars is complete, and finishing touches and other works are underway. Dr. Gupta directed the officers to complete the work on the Welcome Gate, the Rishi Nagar crematorium, and the Town Park by the deadline of August 15.
Gate will enhance the beauty of Delhi Road
The Welcome Gate will be the first thing visitors see when entering the city from Delhi Road, enhancing the road’s appearance. The Maharaja Agrasen International Airport has already been inaugurated on Delhi Road. In the future, Delhi Road is set to become the hub of the city’s main activities.
Welcome gate will become a popular Selfie Point
Dr. Gupta also said that the welcome gate will be a selfie point for travelers from Delhi and other parts of Haryana as well.
