AAP Gujarat chief Isudan Gadhvi highlighted pothole-ridden roads in Khambhalia and questioned the BJP over road infrastructure and public concerns.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat president Isudan Gadhvi raised questions over the condition of roads in the Khambhalia region, alleging that several stretches of road are in poor shape despite being important routes connecting villages.
Gadhvi highlighted the issue during a Facebook Live while travelling towards Khambhalia. He showed the condition of a state highway connecting Kalyanpur and Khambhalia and claimed that the road has numerous potholes.
Isudan Gadhvi Highlights Potholes on State Highway
During the interaction, Gadhvi described the road as an example of what he sarcastically referred to as a highway built using “space technology.” He claimed that the road serves as a link for around 42 villages and questioned the condition of infrastructure on such an important route.
According to Gadhvi, the damaged road is creating difficulties for commuters. He said that local residents told him that vehicles are being damaged while travelling on the road.
The AAP leader also claimed that residents informed him that several other roads in the area are facing similar problems.
AAP Leader Raises Questions Over Road Maintenance
Gadhvi questioned why roads in Khambhalia continue to face infrastructure-related problems and urged people to pay attention to issues affecting their daily lives.
He alleged that several roads across Khambhalia are in poor condition and said that citizens should demand accountability over road construction and maintenance.
The AAP Gujarat chief also questioned the political choices of voters in the region, referring to BJP victories in district and taluka panchayat elections. His remarks were part of his broader criticism of the political leadership over local infrastructure.

Gadhvi Brings Up Crop Insurance and Voting Issues
During the Facebook Live, Gadhvi also linked the discussion about roads with issues concerning farmers and elections.
He questioned whether political leaders seeking votes in the name of caste or religion had delivered benefits such as crop insurance to farmers. He argued that voters should evaluate political representatives based on development and public services rather than identity-based considerations.
Gadhvi said that people should remain aware of their rights and raise questions about issues affecting their everyday lives.
‘People Need to Stay Alert’, Says AAP Leader
The AAP leader appealed to citizens to remain vigilant about development-related issues. According to him, lack of public awareness can result in people continuing to face problems related to roads and other basic infrastructure.
Gadhvi claimed that authorities are aware of the condition of the roads and questioned why adequate corrective measures have not been taken.
He further criticised what he described as the installation of poles across the region and compared the situation to a “spider web.”
Road Infrastructure Becomes Political Talking Point
The condition of roads in Khambhalia has emerged as a political talking point in Gadhvi’s remarks. By showcasing the highway during his journey, the AAP leader sought to draw public attention to road quality, vehicle damage and connectivity issues.
While making the allegations, Gadhvi called on residents to assess development work on the ground and raise questions about the quality of public infrastructure.
