The largest telecom provider in India, Jio, has raised the cost of all of its postpaid and prepaid services. Additionally, the company is only offering its 5G limitless benefit to a select group of users with more expensive plans. The following revised plan pricing will take effect on July 3rd, 2024. It’s anticipated that additional carriers like Vi and Airtel will implement a raise of a similar nature.

Jio also launches additional services and restricts 5G unlimited data to more expensive tariffs.
Jio has announced that only those with plans that include 2GB or more of data per day would be able to enjoy its 5G unlimited data feature. The business reaffirmed that India would get the fastest 5G rollout. Additionally, Jio is the only provider in the nation using standalone 5G technology. Furthermore, JioPhone and JioBharat customers won’t see a tariff increase from the carrier.
JioSafe and JioTranslate are two other new apps that Jio released today. JioSafe is a communication program that offers file sharing, texting, calling, and other features. Its “quantum security” feature will be its most notable feature. The corporation has stated that the monthly subscription fee will be Rs. 199, but it has not provided any further details.
The second software is called JioTranslate, and it is a communication tool that uses artificial intelligence to translate text, photos, phone calls, and messages. The monthly cost of the service is Rs. 99. Fortunately, Jio customers can utilize both of these services for free for a full year.
