In a significant step toward improving rural infrastructure, the construction work on the road connecting Dina Nagar–Gharota Road to Basi Bahalolpur has officially begun. The project is being undertaken at an estimated cost of around ₹60 lakh.
Punjab Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak stated that the initiative is part of the government’s broader commitment to strengthening basic infrastructure in both rural and urban areas. He emphasized that ensuring better connectivity and convenient transportation for citizens remains a top priority.
The long-pending demand of the local residents has finally been addressed with the commencement of this road project. The new road is expected to significantly improve daily commuting conditions for villagers who had been struggling with poor road infrastructure for years.
