Rich tributes were paid to former CM late B.P. Mandal on his birth anniversary

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister late B.P. Mandal ji, Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar paid rich tributes by garlanding his life-size statue. The state funeral was held on the occasion of Jayanti near the statue of Adamkad at the intersection of Dashratna Marg and Circular Path in Patna.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mr. Nand Kishor Yadav, Information and Public Relations Minister Mr. Maheshwar Hazari, Minister for Prohibition, Excise and Registration Mr. Ratna Sada, MLC Mr. Virendra Narayan Yadav, MLC Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh alias Gandhiji, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. S. Siddharth, Former Chief Minister Dr. Manish Mandal, Grandson of Late B. P. Mandal, Former Secretary General of Bihar Rajya Nagrik Parishad Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh, Former Member of Bihar Child Rights Protection Commission Mr. Shivshankar Nishad, JD (U) leader Mr. Nikhil Mandal, JD (U) leader Mr. Virendra Singh Dangi and many social and political activists and other dignitaries paid floral tributes to the statue of former Chief Minister late B. P. Mandal.
On this occasion, artists of the Information and Public Relations Department performed Aarti Pujan, Bhajan-Kirtan and Bihar Geet.
