Leopard Found In North Delhi

There are reports of a leopard making its way into the Burari neighborhood of Delhi, the nation’s capital, near Jagatpur village. Numerous villagers have also been attacked by the leopard. Four or five persons are said to have been hurt in the leopard assault. The unexpected appearance of the leopard in the village has created a panicked environment. The police station is now at its location.
After months, there is a sense of panic returning to Delhi because of the leopard’s appearance in the Burari neighborhood. The leopard has only made its way into Jagpur village this time rather than Mukhmelpur. The arrival of the leopard has created a climate of fear among the residents of Jagatpur village. Thapa cops arrived at the location after learning of this.

Leopard’s dead body was found on the road
A leopard was previously sighted in December 2023 at Mukhmelpur, near the Burari neighborhood of Delhi. In an attempt to capture the leopard, officials from the forest department had also built up a cage, but they were unsuccessful. A PCR call alerted the Alipur police station to the presence of a leopard carcass close to NH-44 on December 13, 2023, around four in the morning. According to preliminary findings, the leopard had been involved in a car crash.
