Delhi CM Rekha Gupta invites citizens for ‘Lunch Pe Charcha’ on 11 January 2026. Youth can directly share suggestions and grievances, review government work, and participate in an interactive session with the CM.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced a unique initiative for the city’s youth—‘Lunch Pe Charcha’—scheduled for January 11, 2026. This program will allow citizens to directly interact with the CM, discuss grievances, share suggestions, and review the government’s work over the past 11 months. A select group of 15-20 participants will get the opportunity to have lunch with CM Gupta and engage in an open dialogue.
Why January 11 Was Chosen
The CM Rekha Gupta explained that January 12 marks National Youth Day, which falls on a weekday this year. Considering the busy schedules of Delhi residents, the event has been scheduled on Sunday, January 11, so more participants can join without work-related constraints.

What the Event Will Cover
During the session, CM Rekha Gupta will encourage participants to highlight issues faced over the last 11 years and provide a review of the government’s performance during the past 11 months. Citizens are invited to submit their complaints and suggestions through direct messages or comments, and selected individuals will be invited to join the lunch and share their insights personally.
A Platform for Open Dialogue
“This will be the first of its kind, and such interactive sessions will continue in the future,” CM Gupta said. The initiative aims to strengthen citizen engagement, transparency, and collaborative governance. By directly listening to feedback, the Delhi government hopes to convert citizens’ suggestions into actionable policies that improve governance and address long-standing concerns.
The ‘Lunch Pe Charcha’ initiative underscores CM Rekha Gupta’s commitment to participatory governance, providing a rare platform for citizens—especially youth—to directly communicate their ideas and grievances to the city’s top leadership.
