Manaskhand Corridor Yatra in Uttarakhand
A seven-day, six-night vacation package is available for the Manaskhand Corridor Yatra, which visits the temples in Manaskhand. On April 22, the initiative gets underway.
Authorities announced on Saturday that the ‘Manaskhand Corridor Yatra’, a campaign to promote the historic temples of the Kumaon region, will begin next week in partnership with the Indian Railways and the Uttarakhand tourism department. District Tourism Officer Kirti Chand Arya announced that a special train will be operated for the yatra starting on April 22 from Pune to Tanakpur in the Pithoragarh district.
More than 600 pilgrims will board the train in two batches to visit the well-known temples of “Manaskhand,” which is the name given to the Kumaon area of Uttarakhand in ancient Hindu texts.

According to him, the pilgrims will have to get off the train at Khatima, which is roughly one kilometer from Tanakpur, and be driven by road to the temples.
According to Arya, a train will depart Pune on April 22 and arrive in Khatima on April 24.
He further mentioned that on April 24, a second train carrying pilgrims will leave Pune and arrive in Khatima on April 26.
Khatima has been selected as the final stoppage because, according to the official, it has superior amenities than Tanakpur, including hotels.
As part of the tour package, he added, the devotees will be brought to temples and other sacred locations in Tanakpur, Champawat, Pithoragarh, and Almora. They will also be briefed on the mythological significance of these sites.
Visits to Baleswar, Maneswar and Mayawati temples in Champawat, Hat Kalika , Patal Bhubaneswar temples in Pithoragarh, Jageswar and Golu devta temples at Chitai, Nanda Devi, Kasar Devi, Katarmal in Almora, Nanakmatta Sahib Gurudwara in Udham Singh Nagar and the Naina Devi temple in Nainital are part of the itinerary for the pilgrims.
