Urban Development and Housing Minister Vijayvargiya expressed his delight in attending the Bhagoria Festival in Alirajpur, emphasizing how the radiant expressions and confidence of the people brought him immense happiness. He highlighted the remarkable progress Alirajpur has made over the past 20 years, with significant improvements such as permanent housing, clean drinking water in every household, and farmers successfully cultivating three crops a year.
Speaking at the festival, Minister Vijayvargiya praised Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan for effectively implementing state government initiatives at the grassroots level. Reflecting on his long-standing connection with the region, he shared that he has been visiting Alirajpur for 40 years and has personally witnessed its transformation. He noted that due to the government’s dedicated efforts, migration has declined, prosperity has increased, and the tribal communities now exhibit greater self-confidence.
Minister Vijayvargiya further acknowledged Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s commitment to bringing global recognition to the contributions of tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The state government remains dedicated to ensuring that the Bhagoria Festival continues to be celebrated with enthusiasm and grandeur.
During the event, Minister Vijayvargiya and Minister of State Shri Gautam Tetwal were warmly welcomed in traditional tribal attire, including a jacket and turban, by Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan and Member of Parliament Smt. Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan.
