Calling Prime Minister Shri Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav provides details about the state’s public welfare initiatives, such as the Jal-Ganga campaign and the Sickle Cell Eradication Program.
In order to congratulate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on his third term in office and to ask for his blessings, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made him a courtesy call today at his residence on 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed optimism that Madhya Pradesh’s development and advancement will continue to receive the same level of support from the newly established central government led by Prime Minister Shri Modi.
The Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Project and the Ken-Betwa Project, two significant river-linking initiatives underway in the state, were updated to the Prime Minister by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The Ken-Betwa project is ready, according to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, who also asked Prime Minister Shri Modi to grant time for its Bhoomi pujan.
The state’s many public welfare programs were updated on by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for Prime Minister Shri Modi. He noted that the state’s water structures, such as wells, step wells, rivers, ponds, lakes, etc., are the subject of a broad public awareness campaign called Jal-Ganga Abhiyan. Due to the state’s citizens’ fervor for this campaign, the deadline has been extended to June 30.
The Prime Minister Shri Modi was also briefed by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav about the state’s ongoing program to eradicate sickle cell disease. He reported that on World Sickle Cell Day, a state-level activity was held in the Dindori district, spearheaded by Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar. According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state administration is dedicated to getting rid of this dangerous “blood disorder.” Furthermore, it is committed to keeping up its assistance for raising public awareness.
