MP News: At Kasturba Hospital of BHEL, Bhopal, SM Ramanathan, Executive Director, officially opened the new ICU and emergency care ward on Friday. The facilities are state-of-the-art.
This time, a large number of people attended, including BK Singh, General Manager (HR), Sangeeta Ramanathan, President of the Ladies Club, Avinash Chandra, General Manager (WEX, MOD, and LGX), and Dr. Alpana Tiwari, Chief Medical Services, Kasturba Hospital. Other attendees included General Managers, members of various unions, the President and General Secretary, members of the Medical Advisory Committee and the Town Advisory Committee, as well as doctors, nurses, officers, and Kasturba Hospital staff. Everyone went to the recently constructed, state-of-the-art ICU and emergency unit.
Speaking to the assembly, Ramanathan stated that the management of BHEL is dedicated to offering improved medical care to all workers, retirees, and their families. He provided information regarding the hospital’s upgraded amenities, including the availability of new doctors. He added that the casualty ward addition to the refurbished I.C.U. will give patients access to far better facilities. He also promised to use every resource at his disposal to expand the hospital’s amenities.
During the program, BK Singh urged everyone to adhere to the new ICU’s guidelines and stated that, in an effort to give patients better treatment, new equipment will also be purchased.
Dr. Tiwari summarized the accomplishments of 2023–24 by stating that the hospital now employs six general duty medical officers, one orthopedic specialist physician, and numerous new machines for radiology, pathology, pediatrics, and physiotherapy.
MP News: The DNB department has also welcomed two new physicians. Super specialty doctors working in the hospital include neurosurgeons, nephrologists, cardiologists, and neurologist.
Attending the occasion were the presidents and general secretaries of every union, as well as the Medical and Township Advisory Committee. Everyone promised complete cooperation in adhering to the ICU and new casualty protocols.
Dr. (Mrs.) Pamela Sachdev, General Manager (Gynecology), gave a vote of gratitude after Dr. Rimmi Sethi, Consultant (Eye), conducted the program.
