Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has unveiled a series of major initiatives aimed at strengthening the dairy sector, increasing farmers’ income, and empowering women through cooperative participation. The announcements are expected to provide financial support to milk producers while expanding rural livelihood opportunities across the state.
₹10 Per Litre Incentive for Women Milk Producers
One of the key announcements is a ₹10 per litre incentive for women associated with Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Women CM PACS that supply milk to Vita. The incentive is designed to encourage greater participation of women in dairy farming and improve their financial independence.
The Chief Minister said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to making women active contributors to Haryana’s rural economy.
‘Shared Dairy’ Model to Be Introduced in Villages
To strengthen dairy infrastructure in rural areas, the state government will establish “Sanjhi Dairy” (Shared Dairy) units on Panchayat-owned land. The shared dairy model is expected to benefit small farmers and dairy producers by creating community-based facilities for milk production and management.
The initiative aims to improve milk collection, increase efficiency, and generate additional employment opportunities in villages.

Affordable Loans for Purchasing Dairy Animals
The Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation will assist women members of Self-Help Groups and Women CM PACS in obtaining loans at concessional interest rates for purchasing dairy animals.
This financial assistance is expected to help women expand dairy activities, improve milk production, and create sustainable income sources for their families.
Higher Incentives Under Milk Producer Promotion Scheme
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also announced an increase in the incentive amount under the Chief Minister Milk Producer Promotion Scheme for dairy farmers supplying milk to the Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation.
The enhanced support is intended to encourage higher milk production while improving the earnings of dairy farmers across Haryana.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the Haryana Government is committed to modernizing the dairy sector while creating more opportunities for farmers and women entrepreneurs.
