Safety: There is strong industry speculation that the updated lineup will shift to 6 airbags as standard, significantly boosting the safety profile of these entry-level vehicles.
Powertrain Expectations
Petrol/CNG: The ICE Tiago is expected to continue with its reliable 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine, available in both petrol and CNG configurations.
EV: The Tiago EV is expected to retain its core 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery options, though observers are looking for potential refinements in battery tech (possibly prismatic cells) and motor efficiency, similar to the recent updates seen in the Punch EV.
